Hey there!
When I'm not crunching numbers, you'll find me at the fishin hole with my son! I fish for most anything...anywhere, usually around home...Utah.
My motto Live Laugh Love and FISH!
SMILES ALWAYS!!!!!!!
About Yourself
Been fishing since I was knee high, started out tagging behind my Daddy with a fly rod, in the middle of rivers.
Favorite species
Musky & Carp-FOR THE FIGHT.... Walleye, Panfish, Bass, Salmon-FOR THE EATS... Trout(shallow rivers), Bluegill, Perch-FOR THE SIGHT(watching them bite).... All the Pesky ones like Yellow Bellies-FOR THE THRILL (of just watching kids giggle & laugh cause they caught a fishy)!!!!
Most Memorable Fish
15 lb Channel and a couple hours to land it with my son's spiderman pole! Also a 39" Musky..with my Daddy's ol Browning tipped clear under the rubby raft and my reel almost in the water! To feel the fight and feel its shakin head while I'm holdin onto my pole for dear life, is pure heaven!!! And my first STEELHEAD they are truly amazing!!

Hey Ma, the crappie you have in week 11 is a black crappie. I'm sure your "muddy river" is clear compared to the MUDDY RIVERS down here. Like I said cold water I assume. Specks love it up North. Notice how your fish is almost a speckled pattern as with Weibe's and all those from Canada. The White Crappie has more organized patterns of color on it's side. The dorsal fin count are different as well.
Hey MA! GO GET A HUGE CARP! LM was fun yesterday caught 45 bass and a huge BULL FROG! Be resting this finger all week then I will prolly take a day trip to Greg's for the Friday.
Mike :)
well, ma went out yesterday and only caught 33 bass between the two of us. largest at 22 and 21.5 so we did not get the big one and had to fish in the ran to get that . but not a bad day.
Hey Ma...we have both species and they both get big but for some reason the white crappie don't do as well up north as they do in the South. Also, for smaller lakes you would NEVER EVER want White Crappie in it as they will over run it. Black Crappie don't breed as much as the whites do. You can have crappie in a small pond but the will almost always be blacks or specs is what we call them. Black Crappie like CLEAR cold water hence thats what they have up North. White Crappie like dirty muddy water. Here where I fish we have White and Black Crappie as well as the Black Nosed Black Crappie and a Magnolia Crappie (a hybred crappie unique to Mississippi and a cross between a White Crappie and a Black Nosed Black Crappie). You can google any of them on the internet. The Black Nosed is the most beautiful fish and I never keep them as I have only caught a few on my home lake. I have never caught a Magnolia Crappie as the State only put them in a few lakes around the state as a test. All of our rivers here have both species including the mighty Mississippi.
Ahhhh MA, I love your sense of humor. I am glad you shed the panties and went for the boxers, good on ya. Please stay away from those rattle snakes, I dislike snakes very much myself. As you know we only have non-poisonous snakes in Calgary but they still freak me out a little. Keep on keep'in on MA.
Thanks guys! Fishin is GREAT! Just trying to find where them darn Crappy went before Sunday! Hey Mike R... YEP lost them panties long time ago!lol Boxers are better! Love those river trout!!!;)
thanks ma. I blew my 90 hp motor on monday. Expensive repair. I had to drop one tourney already because of the expense. Time to pull out the canoe. Good luck
Ma there is crappy here i caught a 12.5 in early fall last year when trolling eyes...... this year I dont have a clue where to find em, IM a Crappy Crappie fisherman need to learn more about the species without teeth!!!! I plan on fishing the LM week hard, then prolly go up to Greg's for the day the next weekend to do some carp fishing... how about you any crappie?
Mike :)
thanks Ma, ya the competitions getting harder, my boats done for the year, motor needs to be rebuilt,@#*$# Evinrudes!!! Had to fish with a buddy all week, no biggies without my Punisher. Catching any Crappie this week?
Thanks for the gl Ma!! I'm kinda crippled right now, my boat is in the shop right now(worst timing @#*@!!!) so im trying to get out in my buddies boats right now. I'll be out as much as i can. thanks
Alright Ma, I'm up there. Snookmagnet got skunked, but not me. I caught a NICE red today, took the pictures said "thanks" as I watched it swim away, and realized that I left out the code. !!!!!ARG!!!! But I was lucky and caught another big one a few minutes later.... We'll see how it holds up, but that 1st place fish must be a nice one based on my unnoficially, currently second, fish.
Thanks FISHINMA, I knew he had that one... I was just waiting for him to upload it. If I'm going lose, atleast I lost to my bro. You didn't do too bad yourself, If MA ever decides to come north for a Cat tourney we had better watch out!
