Been fishing since I was knee high, started out tagging behind my Daddy with a fly rod, in the middle of rivers.
Favorite species
Carp & Steelhead-FOR THE FIGHT.... Walleye, Kitty Kats, Panfish-FOR THE EATS... Trout, Bass, Bluegill, Perch(shallow rivers & clear lakes)-FOR THE SIGHT(watching them bite).... All the Pesky ones like Yellow Bellies-FOR THE THRILL (of just watching kids giggle & laugh cause they caught a fishy)!!!!
Most Memorable Fish
15 lb Channel Kitty and which seemed a couple hours to land it with my son's spiderman pole! Also a 39" Tigger Musky..with my Daddy's ol Browning tipped clear under the rubby raft and my reel almost in the water! To feel the fight and feel its shakin head while I'm holdin onto my pole for dear life, is pure heaven and the un hook scared me to death!!.....! And my first STEELHEAD they are truly amazing!!

Thanks Ma! Lake Simcoe has A different kind of whitefish. The only place in North America that has this strain is here. That one was 26 1/2 inches caught in 80 FOW

Hey Ma!!! It was tough bumping Doug and of course it's even tougher to TRY and hang in there with our bounty friends further south. Gotta love it though. I think I'm addicted!! Hope you are staying warm. We had close to 70 degree weather here today...Strange

Thanks Ma!!! Still early though. You never know what those guys further down south will do!!!! We've been close to the 60's, but this weekend it's supposed to drop close to the 40's....nothing compared to how chilly you are though.

Thanks! Blizzard??? Brrrrr!!! Just the wind was enough to freeze me this weekend! I think I need a cabin on my boat, and a heater, and a coffee maker..lol. Calling for cold, rain, and wind all week here.
