Fall Tournament Countdown

While we countdown to the Fall Tournaments, members have remained active as they are excited to participate in the fastest growing fishing community. In the past week, your fellow anglers were trying to break the BountyRecords, write incredible stories, and share amazing fishing photos.

Featured writer Tom Behrens highlights the top two anglers from our Summer Tournaments in "Aaron and Greg, Two Serious Competitors". Please read the article on the BountyFishing blog.

Best Fishing Story

The winner of last weeks best story contest is Greggofish for his comical account of "My BountyFishing Experience".

This is the story about a slightly overweight but oddly nice looking fisherman and his Summer of discovery and near fatal heat strokes... One night, as I was cruising the parts of the internet that don't require you to enter your age, I happened upon a banner ad for this thing called Bounty Fishing... The first week I fished, I caught a 24 1/2 inch fish on Monday and upgraded on Sunday with a 9 pound 2 ounce bass over 25 inches. Good enough for first place and $1,000... While winning cash was nice (my wife said thank you bounty people), the entire experience was very worthwhile...(read more)

Honorable mention goes to second place finisher FISHINMA (US) for her inspirational story "LAST WEEKEND TO CATCH "THE MONSTER" "

Here's just a story of my last weekend in the SUMMER BOUNTYFISHING TOURNAMENT:
...Sean was so excited to catch Musky that we decided to camp there instead of going to the kitty kat hole. My lantern ran out of fuel around 10:30pm and as I was going for my flashlight, I tripped on a tree root and smacked my knee as I tumbled down a large embankment... THANK YOU SO MUCH BOUNTYFISHING-TEAM AND MEMBERS!!!!! For tagging along with me this summer doing that one thing I enjoy so much FISHING!!!!

And, coming in a close third was martycoo with his tale about his summer fishing with Grandpa "WELL IM GOING TO MISS HER!"

I couldnt say it enough times THANK YOU! You diffently pushed me to fish as often and as hard as possible... I would scramble home and rush to find the 3 three most important things to my day that being my POLE &TACKLE, BOUNTYCODE AND CAMERA... Got a nice Pike that almost rip my Grandpas fingers off when he was removing the hooks while I got the stuff ready, I think in the 8 weekends I fished with PA he got at least 3-4 bad cuts from my fish while I was getting tape and cam ready he would start yelling at me at the top of his lungs to get my arse in gear, jeez we just found em HURRY UP! All in fun and I cant say I know a person that OLD that still wants to just have Good OL fun, NEVER LOSE THE CHILDISH SPIRIT IT'S WHAT KEEPS US GOING! (read more)
