BountyFishing's First Saltwater Tournament

What we do when we are not working on tournaments! In the past few weeks we have added a lot of functionality at BountyFishing. Here are just a few new tools and toys for our members.

"My Featured Video" has been added to each profile. You can add one by editing your profile and it will appear on your own page for other members to see. You can embed a video from Youtube, Google Video or many others video hosting sites. Post one today and check out your buddies.

"Email notification when you receive an internal message" Now when your buddies sends you a message via the BountyFishing internal system you will immediately receive a email notification to check the site. You can turn this feature on or off by editing your profile settings.

"Bigger is better" We now capture larger images when you upload photos to the gallery, click on any new image and a large version will pop up!

"Picture in the forums and in the stories" A picture is worth a thousand words, and we want both.... so add a story, (but) put up some images and you can link the two together.

It free to compete in the BountyRecord Challenge and the prizes got bigger this week!

Here is how it works:

Before you go fishing, retrieve a computer generated BountyCode from the BountyFishing website. The BountyCode is valid only for the week it is issued. This BountyCode will be used to verify your catch and MUST be visible in your photo of "Fish with Ruler".

Email your photos to records@bountyfishing.com prior to the close of the weekly BountyRecord competition- midnight on Sunday.

Check the BountyRecords page for the Bounty (prize money) available for each species. At the end of each week, BountyFishing will validate all of the week's submissions and determine if the previous BountyRecord has been broken. If your fish establishes a new record, the Bounty for that species is yours and we will reset the amount. For any species whose record was not broken in the previous week, BountyFishing may add even more money to the available Bounty.

Remember to answer all the questions in the email when submitting your catch.
