The summer is going fast and, by the looks of it, things are really heating up amongst the BountyFishing competitors. Greg Amiel, Aaron Wiebe, and Michael Sprack, continue to lead as they battle for the top spot amongst our Top Money Earners. Rounding out the top 10 spots are Gavin Cameron, Robert Benson, Steve Fudge, Jody Mills, Mark Carlson, James Williams, Christopher Voros, and Jack Cahn. BountyFishing has paid out over $50,000 in cash prizes since July 2!

With only 3 weeks left to
compete in the BountyFishing Summer Tournaments,
we thought it was time to provide a first glimpse
into the standings for the BountyFishing Ultimate
Angler Prize (for those of you who have not
already pulled out your calculators). And, the
current (unofficial) top 5 members are: 1-Aaron
Wiebe, 2-Jonathan Chapman, 3-Greg Amiel, 4-Mark
Carlson, and 5-Jared Briskin.
The
BountyFishing Master Angler
competition is also heating up!

Because the last
newsletter was only released on Monday August 6, and the Week
6 tournament was already underway, we are tolerating photo
submissions of the
“Fish with Ruler” with the
measuring device placed above the fish for the remainder of
the Week 6 tournament. Please be advised that starting
on Monday August 13th, tournament Week 7, the rule below will
be strictly enforced.
- The measuring device in the “Fish with Ruler” must be placed below the fish as shown in the example in the rules. Entries with the measuring device placed above or on the fish will be disqualified. Entries where the measuring device is not clearly visible will also be disqualified.
The rules are simple; please follow them so that we do not have the disheartening task of disqualifying any of our members.

Break a BountyRecord and win money! Check out the new BountyRecords page.
Starting after Labor Day 2007, BountyFishing will offer cash rewards for any record-breaking fish in any of the eligible species. Each week BountyFishing will add money to any species whose record was not broken in the previous week. BountyFishing records will be determined by the longest fish submitted in each category from July 2 – September 2, 2007.
