Start Competing Today!

With only four weeks left of our summer tournaments, the time has come for all of you BountyFishing members who have not yet played to get out on the water and compete.

Experience the thrill of tournament fishing with your friends and family. For all of our members who have been out on the water competing since Week 1, we would like to review the BF Master Angler Club and the BF Ultimate Angler prize.

BountyFishing Master Angler Club

At the end of the Summer Tournament season, BountyFishing will award cash prizes to the anglers who accumulate the greatest combined length for FIVE (5) fish in a single category. Only the longest fish PER WEEK is eligible.

For example, Walleye: Week1- 30.5”, Week 2- 28.7”, Week 4- 29.3”, Week 6- 31.2”, Week 8- 29.4” = Total Length 149.1”

BountyFishing Ultimate Angler

At the end of the Summer Tournament season, BountyFishing will award a cash prize to the ONE (1) angler who accumulates the greatest combined length of their largest fish in each category. Only the largest fish in each category PER WEEK is eligible. You need not submit a fish in all categories.

For example, Walleye 31.3”, Salmon 37.9”, Smallmouth Bass 18.8”, Trout 29.6”, Largemouth Bass 0” (did not enter a fish), Catfish/Carp 0” (did not enter a fish) , Panfish 13.4”, Musky/Pike 51” = Total Length 182”

Please note, that for both classifications, your fish did not have to place in the top three to qualify. Also, should you be a contender, all of the fish that have not previously been verified by BountyFishing will be validated by the BountyLab.

We hope the explanation is clear. Now, go and get’em!

We would like to highlight some changes that have taken place at BountyFishing. Please make sure to familiarize yourselves with these latest additions.

  • Starting Week 6 of our tournaments, Aug 6th - 12th, the measuring device in the “Fish with Ruler” must be placed below the fish as shown in the example in the rules. Entries with the measuring device placed above or on the fish will be disqualified. Entries where the measuring device is not clearly visible will also be disqualified.
  • Due to Washington state regulations, Bountyfishing will no longer accept tournament entries from Washington state for the following species: Tiger Muskie (Esox masquinongy x Esox lucius) and Trout (all)

The rules are simple; please follow them so that we do not have the disheartening task of disqualifying any of our members.

This week’s exceptional photo submissions go to D-Love.

Tip: Remember to submit photos of good quality. Pictures taken out of focus will be subject to rejection.

In our ongoing effort to make this the best fishing site around, we would like to introduce some new features to BountyFishing.com.

  • PayPal is now an accepted method of payment on BountyFishing.com
  • All fish sizes will now be displayed in decimals and not in fractions.
  • Tournament History will now show all of the fish that have been uploaded to date.
  • Fish with the check marks have been verified by the BountyLab.
  • Check out the new BountyRecords page.
  • Please note the “new message” indicator in your profile.

Thank you to the entire BountyFishing community for making the first half of our summer tournaments a success.

BountyFishing would like to extend a special welcome to all the BFT members for joining us. Have a great week out on the water. Good luck to all our members and we hope that next week’s bounty is yours!

If there is anything you would like added we would like to hear you suggestions. Please send your comments to: info@bountyfishing.com
