About Yourself
I dont fish a lot other species, than bass. I make it a year round challenge to find them, and bring them in. I do catch alot of pike but not on purpose, they seem to really like my bass lures. I havent used any live bait in 15 years and dont plan to. A long day fishing and catching one big bass is better than short day and catching alot of little one. I am self employed and travel throughout NY, my gear is mounted in the back of my truck, and I never pass up a possible catch.

My wife made me change this. I dont make excuse's, but, I also dont tell her when I finish a job early, take off fishing, and dont answer the phone. All I can say is, the birds will tell on me. And who answers a phone mid retrieve?

I did that free tournament, i didn't have any luck...but this weekend I will be in the Amara-Can Walleye tournament out of Dunkirk so im pretty excited for that! Hopefully the winds are down so we can do some serious fishing haha. Well good luck with your business and i hope you get some free time to fish!

thanks! im pretty new to this so im still trying to figure out the ropes lol, it's tough living in NY and trying to compete with the other parts of the country that hold large fish but ill give it whirl probably when the steelhead start running! where abouts u from in NY?

I did indeed find another 1. And I knew it was there. Check this out, when I got the first one close enough to see it in the water, there was 2 more chaseing that one. I will never know if the second was from the three, but I know for sure theres more. :) Mike

Thanks Ma, I caught a nice one today and cant use it. 22 incher, and my camera was set wrong and the mb are to small for Bounty to except them. I am going back out right now and fishing till I get another one. :( Mike

Well first day of tournament, and nothing over 19 in. Guess I will have to hit it harder in the morning. We have had nothing but Rain, nasty. One minute sun next pouring rain, not the nice conditions I like, LOL. Well 20 or better by friday is my mission. We will see. :)

Hey, I'm actually in Binghamton, bout 20mins from the PA border, but I don't know how much longer I'll be here. I leave to go back to college in VA in 2 weeks. But I'll keep that in mind. Definitely would like to hit the lakes.
