About Yourself
My name is Marcia Rubin, and I fish professionally with ESPN's Women's Bassmaster Tour. I finished in the Top 20 for Angler of the year at the end of my Rookie Year. Last year, I ended up in 12 for Angler of the Year. That 12th place finish in Angler of the Year qualified me to fish the Women's Bassmaster Tour Championship. :-)
I ended up finishing in 9th in the Championship. What an absolutely incredible experience it was to walk across the Bassmaster Classic Stage! Meanwhile, I love to fish for anything, but have specifically been targeting bass for the last three years. I live in Ohio, but travel all across the United States for fishing and tournament related activities. I'm really proud to be a member of the Bounty Fishing Team!!!! I'm hoping to bring a lot of attention and a lot of new members to this site. I proudly display the BountyFishing.com logos on both my truck and boat so that the entire world can see it as I drive across the United States :-)

Nice to see you on bounty. I am not at your league but will be fishing the 2009 BFL Everglade division with hopes of making it to the All American. Best of luck - dasfish!

Hi Marcia,congrats in the WBT. We need to see more women in the sport to show the young ones they can do it too. My three year old daughter is already catchin bass her biggest so far is a 17" smallmouth. Imagine the smile and excitment that fish gave her,the pure thrill of a river smallmouth. And after all that she wanted to quote "let her go home" and we released the fish. Hope to see more of you in the future. Brake a line!
