About Yourself
Born and raised in New Orleans. Graduate of LSU. Fished heavily throughout SE Louisiana for reds, specks, etc. Lake Amadee, Lake Robin, the Short Rocks, Lake Borgne, Turtle Bay, Red Eye Cut, Maila Village, Myrtle Grove, Grand Isle, just to name a few places I have dropped a line. Now live in Panama City Beach since Katrina. Work as an IT Mgr at a beach resort, The Resort Collection of Panama City Beach. Trying to learn the waters of the St. Andrews Bay system.

Favorite species
Specks, No. 1; Reds No. 2, but will accept anything that wants to drag my line from beneath the water's surface.

Most Memorable Fish
Went to Myrtle Grove with my wife Judy. figured I had to get some live shrimp so went the night before and got a bucket full. Next day we fished off the shoreline (which you used to be able to do). We moved around throughout the day. Each time we stopped I caught keeper trout by throwing far out in the waterway with the popping cork. Judy, on the other hand, threw out only so far, but kept bringing in the larger trout. Each move, a bigger trout. finally, around 2 p.m. we were about to pack it up. She threw out the line maybe fifteen feet from shore. Some old coot was near us who looked like he hadn't caught anything all day. Suddenly the cork went down and the drag was screaming. Hadn't seen a red all day, but thought this was the one. Got close to shore and I nearly died. Biggest trout I've seen. Hoisted her onto shore. Weighed out well over 6 1/2 lbs. Stunned people driving by had to gawk. Me too. Ended the day with 42 specks. Will never forget that day.

Dream Fishing Trip
I've had so many great trips in the marshes around SE La. that's it's hard to drum up some other trip. Maybe maxing out on specks, reds and flounder in the St. Andrew's Bay system one time with my dad.
