About Yourself
Stay at home Dad. I fish any chance I get, mostly for bass both large and smallmouth. When not fishing bass I fish crappie or any other panfish, sometimes walleye or trout too. When the lakes freeze over (they do this up north you know) I keep on a fishin'. Hobbies include NHRA Drag Racing, dirt oval racing and inventing lures.

Most Memorable Fish
I saw or mostly heard this fish jump in the lilypads and it was big. Chasing something for sure. So I grabbed a rod rigged with a topwater frog. I tossed the frog near where the fish had jumped and with one move of the frog, bang she hit. It dug down hard into the pads and with 50lb braid I pulled it out. To my surprise, and equal dismay, not a largemouth, but a 6lb Bowfin (dogfish we call them). I have caught only a few in my life, let alone on a frog!
