I'm yukon boy from the heart, But am most proud to be CANADIAN. I love fishing, hunting, boating, i guess just being in the outdoors. The Yukon provides me with all my hunting and fishing needs.

    I like fishing rainbows on small water lakes, finding them most challenging species in the Yukon.
  • Most Memorable Fish
    I was fishing out at Chadden Lake one day, When i finnally got all set up, line in the water and power baited. Stepping back to go to the bathroom. I come back, and my rod is getting pulled into the depths of the lake, watching it get pulled into like 20-30 feet of water, then it was gone. Luckily i had a back up rod, I always take one to walk in lakes. So it takes me about 10 min to set up my other rod with power bait, cast it out and the waiting game begins. Well not for long this time. My rod flex, and kapow i set the hook hard. Bringing in this fish seemed relentless, getting tougher the closer it got. After about 15min of fighting the fish is within range to see the bow, and sure enough there's a line out the other side of his mouth. What a Day. Lost my rod and caught the fish that took my rod. Sweet
  • Dream Fishing Trip
    I would like to do some marlin fishing, was on a charter once, were one of the guys hooked onto a small black marlin. Ever since then, its always been in my head.
