i caught my first fish at age two, and have not stopped fishing since. It didn't matter what species was biteing, I loved to catch them all. I now have a regular fishing partner, X53gunner. I already got him hooked on flyrod Bluegills.

  • About Yourself
    I caught my first fish at the age of 2, and have not stopped fishing since. I prefer to use the lightest gear feasable for the species of fish I am after that day. fly fishing gear for panfish is the only way to go when the wind is calm. I have always wanted to try Pike fishing with a fly.
  • Favorite species
    it doesn't really matter. they are all fun to catch. That is why I enjoy light weight gear.
  • Most Memorable Fish
    My most memorable fish is a 25 pound Chinook Salmon caught on 10lb line with a 9ft light action spinning rod. I had to chase the fish nearly half a mile down river. by the time i walked back up river, against the current, dragging this fish, I was convinced I was having a heart attack, and I didn't even care.

    A northern Canadian flyin fishing trip for monster Northern Pike.
  • Best excuse you ever told someone to go fishing
    I'm single, I just go. Well, I make sure the dog has gone out first.
