  • About Yourself
    I'm a college student studying land surveying at North Dakota State College of Science. This keeps me busy, but I always find time to go fishing. I'm from SW Minnesota and but my parents have a cabin in west-central minnesota, so that's where I do most of my fishing. When I'm not fishing or studying, I'm probably playing basketball or hanging out with friends.
  • Favorite species
    Tough, very tough qustion. I enjoy fishing all species, but if I had to pick one it would be northern pike.
  • Most Memorable Fish
    That would be my annual trip to Manitoba in back in August 2006, not just because of the size, the way it happened was special. My dad catches a 41" northern and tells me and the other two people in our boat, "I'm done fishing until someone catches a bigger one." About 10 minutes later I catch a 43.5 inch northern, which was our biggest fish in the six years that we had been fishing there. I was in shocked, but extremely excited when dad caught a 44" northern 5 minutes after that.
