Most Memorable Fish
29 1/2 inch male brown trout. Big hooked jaw, huge spots, and tough as h***. My best friend and I were fishing a trout stream not 3 miles from my house. This stream is the beginning of Crooked Creek and hasn't been stocked for over 10 years. It's the perfect stream. Not many know about it, and it's good for holding large trout. I hooked him from behind a rock in the ripples at an elbow bend in the creek. He ran to a large pool down stream and that's where we faught. Mind you, I was using 4 lb test and had no net, so I was sweating the entire 20 minute fight. My friend was about a half mile down stream, so it took him awhile to get to me. I had to show it to him. No one would believe me otherwise, since I didn't have a camera (stupid, stupid). So I looked it over once more, said thank you, slid it back into the water, and just smiled. Of course I had brag about it, at least for the next month or so.

Crystal clear stream in the middle of Canada with any resemblance of civilization not closer than 20 miles.
