Most Memorable Fish
50" Bull Red Drum off of the beach in Melbourne at 3:00AM. We were fishing for tarpon and were catching a lot of nurse sharks that night. We heard the clicking of the Penn reel and when I got to the pole it seemed like there was nothing there. So I thought I would bring it up to check my bait and all of the sudden the line started ripping out... he must have been running at me. After about 30 minutes I landed a fish that was so big I didn't even recognize it at first.

A death in the family... yeah I know it sounds bad but the Tarpon were thick and I was heading out of town the next day for 2 weeks.

Hey Stu Thanx for the CHEERS!!! I think I'm gonna try that Wiper thing out! They are not a match for true Stripers...but the rivers I fish for BountyRecords run right into Willard Bay(Wiper Waters)!! I might just snag a Bounty record in Kitty's, Walleye and Carp while I'm going for Wipers!COOL! Smiles Always! MA

Hope your fishing the upcoming trout tounament.It looks like we are going to have more competiton,but I'm not expecting forty mile hr. winds this time.I eat allot out at the Cortez Kitchen. Awesome seafood. Good luck

Caught another 4 keepers tonight and added a whole 1/4" to my length. Great night on the water... 4 days to go... Good luck to all!

Yesterday 4 keepers... An absolutely perfect evening on the bay. Today with the wind blowing 20mph and raining it was a different story... nothing but Ladyfish and a Hard Head (catfish) All I needed was a Jack and I would have gotten the Trashcan Slam But I was ON THE WATER Maybe tomorrow....
