Hey Gene. All is swell, fishing for eyes has been a bitch... not like it was last year..... bass fishings been ok, same alot of 2-3 pounders and the very odd 4 here and there. Gonna try some carp on the weekend Ive been reading about it all day went out to walmart bought all the tools I need..... tied my first hair rig and threaded corn on it and all seems to be working finally so hard to figure out the set up from someone just teaching me by mouth so a few videos have helped figure out the science.... it really seems easy, it's just figuring out where they are!!!! Hope your doing well and get some fishing in!!! Mike :)

Hey Gene, It was a pretty tough week for the walleyes here... The lake has clouds upon clouds of baitfish everywhere.. The walleyes have been gorging on perch about the size of your pinky finger.. We had a May fly hatch hit last weekend and the whole lake just seemed to shut down.. I caught a fair amount of fish, but nothing big enough to post.. It was nice weather though and just being out there is good enough for me.. I'm just waiting for the bass tournys now.. Hope you had a descent week... Talk to you later Derrick

Hey Buddy I went again this morning but opted out of buying pass. Got 3 in the Mass Pt. area, all around 17-19". I will give you a call sometime soon. Mike :)

Back at ya! I haven't posted yet. I had better luck yesterday...going out again in a couple hours the bite starts in the dead heat of the afternoon(100F)! I feel like a french fry!!lol Smiles Always! MA
