About Yourself
I'm 32 y/o, thankfully I have a wife that is in support of my fishing addiction. I was blessed enough to really start teaching my son and daughter how to fish this summer. I have been fishing all my life and have always lived near the water. I was born in upstate NY, but have bounced from coast to coast several times, from NY to WA as well as VA and CA. Needless to say I have ended up back home in upstate NY.

Favorite species
Large and Smallmouth Bass! Although growing up on the Salmon River in NY , I would have to say Salmon and Steelhead hold a special place in my heart.

Most Memorable Fish
A 33" Northern Pike. I was about twelve when I caught it fishing with my dad. Somehow it latched onto his knee and tore it up pretty good. It was painful for him at the time but but now it funny to think about him jumping around like....a fish out of water!

Any fishing trip is a dream of a lifetime. Whether it's local, or on a remote lake in Alaska.

Best excuse you ever told someone to go fishing
I called in sick at work. I used the excuse my wife was pregnant and need special attention...lol! She was cool about me going fishing that day. By the way she is pregnant so, there WILL be one more little one to respect the sport.
