I had read it was 54 inches long and 44lbs. caught in Europe somewhere. I dont know how many times I have gotten this picture in an email from a would be fisherman trying to make me think his "friend" caught a monster northern.. they never like my response. But unquestionably, whatever the real story is.. its a monster! The man had a small pike on and then this mother came up and hit that small pike.. and never let go. he netted both aparently. I saw a picture of the pike with the little one in its mouth. I will put it in my photo albums on my profile.

I've seen this one floating around the internet for some time but would really like to know of the size. It is a real PIG. (Heard it was from Europe)

the story goes it was 56" long and 55lbs not sure where it was caught. wow!! look at the girth..
